Epidermolysis bullosa is a group of rare skin disorders that manifest as blistering or erosion of the skin. 
These patients also tend to have very sensitive oral cavity tissue making simple tasks such as brushing and flossing extremely troublesome. Because of that, it is important for these patients to take extra measures to prevent dental problems from developing in the first place. In this exclusive interview with Mark Cannon, DDS, assistant professor at the Feinberg School of Medicine, Northwestern University, he talks about some of those preventive measures that can be performed to limit dental problems from developing.
